Hi I'm Beetle or you can also call me Nixie! I'm the webmaster of this little site! As you can tell I like Beetlejuice lol

I'm a little artist on the internet who likes drawing my ocs and occasionally doing some fanart! I'm also a big fan of coding which is why I've made this site! Outside of my art I work in a primary school (I'm not a teacher just an helper lol) and I'm currently doing some volunteer work working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) children in the hopes of getting a full time placement there!

I've been a pretty anxious person my whole life but I'm honestly just tired of being anxious at this point and I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone more which is one of the reasons why I made this site, to be able to express myself more and be unapologetic about the things I like! I also want to meet more people and make more friends so always feel free to stop by and say hi! :D

As for my hobbies, other than art and coding, I love playing video games and ttrpgs (mainly solo) but lately I haven't had much time for either of them and I miss them! :( I also love musicals! I've been to see some on the West End! I've seen The Lion King, Matilda (when I was younger), Shrek the Musical (again when I was younger lol), Newsies, Hadestown (twice now!), and I'm going to see Ride The Cyclone in December! And Beetlejuice is coming to the West End next year and I'm so excited!! I also really love Starkid musicals, especially Hatchetfield!

With my art I've been drawing seriously since 2020 and I've seen my art improve a lot since then but I think I still have a long way to go. I use Procreate for my digital art but I've also been trying to do more traditional art and I'm currently on my 5th sketchbook! (Although my 3rd one doesn't count because it's for scribbles and I haven't actually finished my 4th sketchbook yet but whatevs) I suffer badly with perfectionism when it comes to my art which means a lot of the time I get too nervous to actually start drawing, which is something I've been trying to get better with! I'm slowly trying to use sketchbooks as actual sketchbooks rather than doing full art pieces everytime!

Some current goals I have with my art/creative endeavours are:

• I want to make some zines! I just really like the concept of them and I feel like they would be a great little way for me to flex my creative muscles!
• I want to work on my oc stories some more, most of my ocs are pretty much blank profiles and they deserve to get some development!
• I want to build up this site some more! Currently this is my favourite hobby of mine!
• I want to maybe develop some more ttrpgs, I made a little solo journaling game before (you can find it on my itch!) and I want to do some more!
